The name of the butterfly is Urania, it´s migratory, they are coming back from the south, since it´s winter down there. It happens every year around this time, that´s why the spanish conquistadores (who founded the city of Panama on august 15) named the city Panama (which means abundance of fish and butterflies). Pretty bug! |
