Trinidad and Tobago Defeats Panama 1-0, Panama vs. US next

Sports SectionStern John scored in the 62nd minute to lead Trinidad and Tobago to a 1-0 victory over Panama in a CONCACAF World Cup qualifier Saturday night. With the win, Trinidad moved into fourth place in the standings, two points ahead of Guatemala.

US: Arena Makes Several Changes Ahead Of Panama

Bruce Arena made several changes to his roster ahead of USA's final qualifier against last place Panama on Wednesday
The experimental formation used and equally experimental side trotted out against a motivated Costa Rican team combusted in the second half.

All but two of the European-based contingent have been sent home. Goalkeeper Tim Howard will be given another shot in between the pipes, and Charlton's Jonathan Spector should feature in the U.S. defense after watching from the bench on Saturday.

Aside from Eddie Pope (73), Steve Ralston (31), and Chris Albright (17), none of the players on the roster have more than fifteen caps. Four players will be looking for their first ever senior level caps, and two have only been capped twice.
