Contributed by: Don WinnerI scrounge through the Internet every day looking for interesting things about Panama. Every now and then I run into sports articles that usually talk talk about the "Panama Girls Softball Team Wins in Last Minute Upset Over the Hooters" or something like that. Everyone knows about Panama (the one with the canal) and Panama City, Florida (spring-break) but did you know there is a Panama, Oklahoma? Population 1,396 (est. for 2005), and close to the Fort Smith, Arkansas mega-plex, they are just South of Cowlington on 59, and North of Shady Point. And in case those nice folks of Panama ever happen to run into this website, you should know that I'm following your high school sports teams rather closely.
