GPS Maps of Panama from The Panama Zone

Maps By DON WINNER for Panama-Guide.com - I recently picked up a slightly used Street Pilot III GPS and had a detailed GPS map of Panama map from Steve Magaric's Panama-Zone.com loaded. This is simply the best GPS mapping product currently available for Panama. I go all over the place and have been playing with the routing feature, "Go 400 feet and turn left, arriving at destination on right." Very cool. I like electronic toys anyway so this thing is right down my alley. Contact Steve if you want a copy of his map, and as far as I know he has the only good GPS map available for Panama. Again, excellent stuff.

Nice recommendation, Don. I've been in PC for 3 yrs and it took me 2 years of asking around to find this gps map. Steve Magaric's a real pro and does all the compiling himself. I've visited with him on several occasions and he is always willing to help. If any of his customers find errors or areas that require attention, he's more than happy to take the call or better yet, an email with specifics. He will generate the necessary adjustments on the next update. I couldn't recommend his product more highly and have been using his gps for the better part of a year. FYI, I'm using it with the Garmin StreetPilot 2720 which I also recommend. It allows me to download Steve's updates as they come out.

I have a 12 year old Magellan hand held no maps to install...but still gets the job done. I would never travel with out! My next GPS will be a Garmin. Can't even imagine traveling central America with out one. Although I still enjoy getting hard copy maps to identify local areas of interest and to point areas to cabbies because my espanol is no good!
