Editor's Comment: When nuclear energy was first developed geeks were speculating that electrical power would be so cheap and plentiful the power companies wouldn't even bother to meter the lines to measure consumption. Now, with the rising costs of petroleum, new technologies such as these uranium hydride reactors, capable of producing electrical energy safely at .05 cents per kWh, are all of a sudden an attractive alternative. My favorite bumper sticker of all time is "Nuke The Gay Whales for Jesus" (not that I know what that has to do with anything, it just came up.) I say screw the Arabs - go nuke. And at .05 cents per kWh? Oh, hell yeah. Where's my electric car, dammit...
