By DON WINNER for Panama-Guide.com - Have you seen this lately? "Unfortunately, an error has occurred rendering this page. Please try again later." In the past few weeks and especially during peak traffic hours in mid day, it seems like my web server processor simply can't handle the traffic load. Technical support is taking a look but right now it appears to be time for a server upgrade. About 18 months ago I had to upgrade from a shared server to a dedicated server and at that time I was seeing about 2,500 people per day. Now that I'm averaging more than 5,000 people per day, during peak hours the server hits max capacity. The computer can't keep up with the MySQL requests (and then automatically resets.) Of course, this boots off all current users (bad) and then the server restarts (good.) In the meantime, you friendly Panama-Guide readers get somewhat frustrated. Not to worry, the tech guys are going to figure out exactly what's going on, but right now it looks like another upgrade is in order - money I'll happily spend. Just thought you'd like to know what's going on.
