Now 130 Confirmed Cases of H1N1 Influenza in Panama

By DON WINNER for Panama-Guide.com - Yesterday Panama's Ministry of Health reported an additional 23 confirmed cases of H1N1 influenza infection in Panama, bringing the total number of cases to 130. Of these, 65% are minors under 15 years of age and 27% are between 20 and 49 years of age. Most of the cases are located in the urban metropolitan areas of Panama City and San Miguelito, and of all those confirmed cases, 81 patients have recovered from their illness and have been cleared to return to work or school. So far today the World Health Organization has not issued their daily report and update.
