Alexandre Ventura Nogueira Released on $1.4 Million Dollar Bail
By DON WINNER for Panama-Guide.com - Last night Brazilian businessman Alexandre Ventura Nogueira, formerly one of the principal operators of the widely known "Homes" real estate offices in Panama City, paid a bail bond of $1.4 million dollars set by Rodolfo Palma, the judge in the 17th Criminal Court responsible for hearing the fraud cases pending against him. In addition to the bail, there is also a restriction placed against Nogueria to prevent him from leaving the country. There are more than a dozen complaints pending against Nogueria, both criminal and civil, all having to do with allegations of fraud in real estate deals. Nogueira was in the headlines a few months ago when he was acting as a friend and confidant of Colombian David Murcia.
