Robbery At Labor Minister's House

Crime & PunishmentTVN Noticias - Even senior government officials are not safe from crime. Last night several individuals broke into the house of Panama's Labor Minister Alma Cortez and managed to steal a number of items of value. The Director of National Police Gustavo Pérez said they are on the trail of the perpetrators of this crime after taking several statements, but so far there have been no arrests. According to reports, the criminals managed to take several electronic appliances, a plasma TV, a laptop and $1,049 in cash. Just last week, Ricardo Martinelli's mother was the victim of thieves, who entered the RICAMAR offices located in Bethania and stole her computer. According to Mario Martinelli, the President's brother, her computer did not contain any valuable information. (See Comments)

Editor's Comment: Hmmm. Last week they went after Ricardo Martinelli's mother's computer. This week, they got the laptop belonging to Alma Cortez, who is Ricardo Martinelli's lawyer. This is probably too much coincidence to be a "just a coincidence" - and it smells to me like someone is targeting the people closest to Martinelli as part of a coordinated fishing expedition. He's pissing off some people who have a lot of powerful people with deep pockets, so maybe they paid people to see what they could turn up. I guess some people don't like "change" - especially those rich corrupt pieces of shit who have been treating this country like their personal playground for generations.
