By DON WINNER for Panama-Guide.com - (Update - 20 Aug 2009 - I received a communication from family members - the girls were found in Costa Rica. Cancel this one...) I just received this notice from Matt Landau. It appears two American girls are missing in Panama City. The girls, 21 year old Jessica Tierney and 20 year old Taylor Leigh Hook were last seen together on Wednesday, August 12th, at around 5:00am. They said they were going to ride a bus from Quepos, Costa Rica, to San José, Costa Rica, and then from San José to Panama City. They are believed to be with two men (pictured in the flyer), Elías González, and Héctor González. They may be students at the University of Panama and personal trainers at a gym in Panama City. The US Embassy in Panama has been able to confirm the girls crossed the border from Costa Rica to Panama on Wednesday, August 12, 2009. If you have seen these girls or if you have any information regarding their whereabouts please call the United States Embassy in Panama City at 207 7000. Thank you so much.
