Arabe Unido dumps Pachuca 4-1
PANAMA CITY, Panama (AP) — Arabe Unido of Panama routed Mexican club Pachuca 4-1 on Wednesday in a Group A match in the CONCACAF Champions League. In the first group stage match for both clubs, Arabe Unido dominated from the start with Orlando Rodriguez giving the club the lead in the 24th minute. Victor Rene Mendieta added another just before the end of the half. Manuel Mosquera made it 3-0 in the 72nd minute. Paul Aguilar cut the lead to 3-1 in the 77th minute, before Raynaldo Lewin sealed the win for Arabe Unido in the 88th. Pachuca rested many of its regular starters, saving them for league play this weekend.
