Fuel Prices Coming Down Again This Weekend

By DON WINNER for Panama-Guide.com - Gas prices will be coming down again this weekend. The new prices will be in effect from 12 to 25 September 2009. In the province of Panama 95 octane gas will have a new maximum price of $2.92 per gallon. The price for 91 octane gas will be $2.74. Light diesel will cost $2.38 per gallon, and improved diesel will be $2.45 per gallon. In Panama fuel prices are controlled and regulated by the government. Every two weeks they issue the new prices which vary and fluctuate depending on changes in the international price of crude. Gas stations can charge less than these published prices but not more. There are slight variations for the interior of the country to allow for delivery costs.
