Order Given To Proceed With Coastal Strip Expansion
Panama America - This Wednesday the order to proceed was delivered to the Oderbrecht company for the extension of the coastal strip at a cost of $52 million dollars. The project, which will extend the Coastal Strip from the location of the seafood market to the Presidency of the Republic, will also include the construction for a site for the vendors who are currently located in the area known as the Terraplén. The second phase of the coastal strip also includes the construction of a single pier that would allow for better working conditions for the people who use the existing facilities on a daily basis.
