Mary Sloane Tells Her Side Of The Story

You may have no interest in reading any further as I have read correspondence from you that says you believe I am "guilty as hell." I would love to know what it is I am guilty of, for it sure is not stealing millions of dollars from folks as Eric J continues to scream. I offered you access to the criminal file and that offer still stands. You see I have nothing to lie about or to hide. Mike Brausam on the other hand has told many people in the communty that he makes a life practse out of "doing harm" to anyone whom he perceives has harmed him. How perfect now he has Eric J to be his mouth piece and it is probably only costing him a little money to have Eric J trumpet my name and sometimes your name as " my champion" as often as he can. Eric J of course regularly begs on his site for donations and as he demonstrated in the Richie Rich, I know that is not his real name, case he is only too happy to publish anyone's lying story. "Michael Brausam in the name of his corporation Playa 44 filed a private information agaisnt LONDON ASSET MANAGEMENT (LAM) and me as LAM's President alleging that we had befriended him to get his money. To date I have not been charged with a crime and certainly no charge of stealing money has been laid. At the same time as that private information was filed, the real estate property which had been held by Playa 44 was transferred into he name of another company, all directors and officers identical.

Prior to filing this action against LAM and me in Panama, Michael on behalf of Playa 44 had confirmed with LAM that they had sent their money through LAM to New York and they asked LAM to pursue a case against the crooks (remember they pled guilty in NY) for the money that he had lost. LAM had come to know of the problems in NY when contacted by Victim Services out of New York.

So now Mike/playa 44 is claiming the same money in two jursidictions. At the moment the Victim Services' people have in their possession $27 Million in cash and bank deposits as well as other assets like a New York penthouse. Claims agaisnt the crooks in New York from around the world equal $67 Million I beleive, irf memory serves me correctly. So it appears everyone is going to eventually get 40% of their money back or more, including playa 44

Mike during the course of his testimony decides to change his story, from one of befriending him to get him to let down his guard so he would put up his money, and now Mary Sloane has "stolen his money". This change of testimony comes after being given a break by the prosectuor since the first day he was a complete basket case on the stand, crying and breathing really hard (so I am told, remember I am not in court) but the courage of the lie had come to him for his second appearance. And of course my lawyer confronted him with tthe emails where he confirmed to David Roland, LAM's principal, that all his money had gone to New York and been lost/stolen by the NY crooks posing as FX traders.

In the Panama courts nothing happened for months but eventualy all the documents were found. o It turned out that the bank refused to give up their documents for months. Once all the documents were in court the prosecutor promptly decded that the case was in the wrong jurisdction and so for months more it has been running around the courts of Panama trying to find a home and is now somewhere n the courts of Panama City with a prosecutor who is of course in no hurry to read it.

Remember I told you the file was about 12 inches thick. There are two reasons for that. First Mike Brausam/playa 44 through his various lawyers filed applcation every two weeks to have me put in jail, to seize my property and to take my passport. Yes I kid you not, every two weeks. I told my lawyer this was clearly an extortion attempt but I was told they do not have attempted extortion as a crime in Panama and I had to wait until the case was finished to file calumnia y injuria relief The second reason it is so thick is because all the documents have to be submtted in English and then translated and that translation is submitted

Since the courts were not being as helpful nor as fast to "punish me" as Mike hoped he found a reporter who loved his story and would happly print it, no need to check for facts. That was where we first met.

Anyway if you want to corroborate this story please let me know. I understand you already think I am guilty of something so I am certainly not asking you to believe me. Please find out for yourself what is true and what is not true. It is all in the flle. I think there is a recent email from Dave Roland or LAM confirming the last information about the amout of money in court and the claims against it. That email may not be in the court files and I will get it for you if you wish.

I realize that you may have no interest in any of this but it would certianly enable you to expose Eric Jackson totally for irresponsible reporting and lying for gain. "Mouth for Hire" could be his slogan " No lie so outrageous that I will not print it as "the truth" in the Panama News. No one sues me I'm too poor."

PS Mike and all the investors were told to only put in what they could afford to lose. Forex is always dangerous "If it sounds too good to be true it probably is" After hearing David Roland tell poeple about this Forex opportunity in January, 2007? it took Mike 4 months to think about it and decde he wanted to put some money in. There was certainly no pressure on my part for him to do so, I wanted him to look after my kittens while we traveled so I was not presuring Mike at all and he started with $22,500. After a couple of months he added $147,000? or thereabouts and again in November he added $450,000 again this is from memory, it is all in the file. We all knew one of the investors who had put in $1 Million and 6 months later had taken out $1.5 Million. Is it possible Mike's greed got ahead of his brain. It is all in the file."

From The Horse's Mouth: Well, Mary Sloane wanted the opportunity to get her version of this story out there, so there it is. Personally I'll wait for the judges to sort out the issues of guilt or innocence. In the meantime, in my opinion anyone taking investment advice from Mary Sloane should have their head examined, regardless of how the details of this particular situation unfold over time.
