We thought about making a Thanksgiving Dinner because we love to cook and eat and its our favorite holiday. But, we are temporarily staying in a guest house and the kitchen is so hot and unpleasant that roasting a turkey is out of the question AND the kitchen is so ill equipped. Which leads us to the question - is there a group of expats who gather either at a home or a restaurant for Thanksgiving here in PC and where we would be welcome? We would be more than happy to help cook and/or pay for dinner - we are just craving some good ole American company with all the fixings. Thanks for any suggestions. Hey, and have yourself a very Happy Thanksgiving! Lauren & Chuck."
There Are A Few Things Going On: I know the Panama Canal Elks Lodge #1414 is having their Thanksgiving Party on Thursday at 4:00 pm. I'm afraid you already missed the party held by the American Society of Panama, because they already did their thing last week. The Balboa Yacht Club and VFW Post 3835 Ladies Auxiliary will be holding their feast on Thanksgiving Day, Thursday, 25 November, 2010. Now, as far as anything else that might be going on by the way of private parties, groups in a restaurant or something like that, if anything has something going on please let us know in the comments section. Thanks.
