Eleven People Rescued When Drunk Captain Runs Out Of Gas

Boats and SailingEleven people were aided by units of the National Air Service stationed in Puerto Pedregal, after being stranded in the Gulf of Chiriqui. Lieutenant Rusbel Atencio, who is in charge of the station, explained that the boat ran out of fuel near Bajo Pipón and was towed to the port at about the 9:15 p.m. The captain of the boat "La Guadalupana", Andres Samudio was drunk when he arrived at the port of Pedregal.
