Authorities Continue Search For Thirteen Year Old
A thirteen year old child has been missing since 8:00 am Sunday morning in the area of Puerto Limon on the Cañazas river, near Torti in the district of Chepo. Luis Garrido was accompanied by his father (of the same name) who were traveling in a boat. There was a shotgun in the boat that went off, impacting the child who fell into the river and was swept away by the current. The National Civil Protection System started a search operation this morning to search for the boy's body. Units of the National Police are also involved in the search, together with the SINAPROC, and so far they have not found the whereabouts of the child. (Dia a Dia)
