Search Area For Missing Aircraft Will Be Expanded
Panamanian officials participating in the search for the plane missing since Friday with six aboard have expanded the search area in the Darien province, reported Tuesday afternoon the director of the Civil Aviation Authority (CAA), Rafael Barcenas. Therefore, more resources have been allocated to these tasks, and they are focusing on the area near Gonzalo Vasquez. "All of the objects are appearing in a nearby space, so therefore we continue," and they have expanded the search areas on the coasts, said the director to the local news media. Barcenas explained that tomorrow, Wednesday, at 7:00 am the search for the missing aircraft and crew will resume. "The search will be continued, as I told the family members, until time dictates its physically impossible to find their relatives," said Barcenas. The Director of Civil Aviation said they have found a life jacket, consistent with those used by the entity to travel on aircraft. (La Prensa)
