Protest At National Assembly After Employee Killed Crossing Street
Employees of the National Assembly of Deputies closed the National Avenue in protest over the death of Leonardo Martinez, who was hit and killed as he tried to cross the street on the Avenue of the Martyrs. Martinez's co-workers say he worked there for more than 15 years, that he was a humble man, known for being hard working. The people are requesting that a traffic light be installed at the place where Martinez was run over, or that a traffic police officer be assigned there permanently. (Dia a Dia)
