Small Earthquake Near Boquete at 3:47 pm - not being reported yet...

EarthquakesBy DON WINNER for Panama-Guide.com - Local residents are reporting a small earthquake in the area of Boquete, in the province of Chiriqui, near the border with Costa Rica. According to the live plot of the monitoring station in Heredia, Costa Rica the earthquake did in fact occur at 3:47 local time - it's clearly visible on their plot. I checked with both the US Geological Services and the IGC here in Panama, and neither of them are reporting on this relatively small earthquake. Anyway, I filled out the USGS form so maybe now they will go back and check their logs to put this one on the books. These small earthquakes happen all the time up in that area - and they sort of become part of the background noise.

Do you know if there was an earthquake in the Azuero area last week? I thought I felt something, but maybe I just had a few beers too much.
