Two American Tourists Injured in Traffic Accident Near David, Chiriqui

Two American tourists were injured today, Wednesday, 30 November 2011, in a car accident that happened at the bridge over the David river, near the entrance to town, in the province of Chiriqui. The foreigners were injured when four vehicles, three small cars and an 18 wheeler, collided this morning. The tourists were traveling in the white car that received the greatest impact. Transit authorities are investigating the causes of the accident, while some witnesses felt the truck driver may have committed some degree of negligence in driving. (TVN)
