SINAPROC Director in Chiriqui Resigns
After spending 60 days of vacation, this Friday the (now) former Director of the National Civil Protection System in Chiriqui, José Donderis, returned to his job, and at noon he formally resigned over alleged discrepancies with the General Director of the SINAPROC, Arturo Alvarado. Donderis, who assumed the position on 1 August 2009, said he was grateful for the opportunity, but added he prefers to stay away to avoid conflict so therefore he will retire to private enterprise. For now, Abelardo Serrano remains as the Director in Charge of the Sinaproc in Chiriqui, until a new regional manager is appointed. (Telemetro)
