Hey! Very Cool! Panama-Guide Taxi Ad on Promo-Panama
By DON WINNER for Panama-Guide.com - Tony Busse is a friend of mine here in Panama who is starting up a new business, putting advertising signs on the tops of taxi cabs. We're basically doing a service exchange - I'm running his banner on my website, and he put a few signs on some taxi's. The first of my signs just hit the streets yesterday. In order to make it more fun, I'm putting out a challenge. I'll buy a round of beers and BBQ Shish kebabs (drool) for the first person to snap a photo of my sign with a cell phone or whatever, and send it to me via email at don@panama-guide.com, at the Istmo Brew Pub in Panama City. Please tell me when you saw the sign (date and time) and where. Tony has a great idea here. He and I don't compete at all, because my site is all Internet and hits mostly gringos, while his media is all street and hits mostly Panamanians. And on a goof I had the signs drawn up saying (in Spanish) "Want to know what the Gringos are thinking? www.panama-guide.com" I figured that might lure in a few more Panamanian visitors, just out of curiosity. Anyway, cool beans...
