New Luxury Bed and Breakfast Now Open In Panama City - Casa Ramirez

Hotels We are proud to announce the opening of a new and unique Panama City Bed and Breakfast run by the team at Bahia Del Sol Managed Properties - Casa Ramirez. Bahia Del Sol currently runs a bed and breakfast of the same name in Bocas Del Toro as well as KoKo resort also in Bocas Del Toro. After the success of these two properties over the last five years in Bocas, Bahia Del Sol Properties had been on the look out for a Panama City location. Well the wait is over and the doors of Casa Ramirez are now open.

Casa Ramirez was built as a private home in the late 1950s in the exclusive Altos Del Golf area of Panama City, Panama. The area the home is located in is seconds away from Panama Viejo and has some pretty famous Panamanian neighbors. The presdent of Panama, Ricardo Martinelli lives down the street as well as other ex presidents and even the former home of Manuel Noriega is close by. Over the years the house has been used for several different business including at one point a high end brothel for Panama's elite. (more)

Now as Casa Ramirez this beautiful property is open as a alternative to staying in traditional Panama City Hotels. Five guestrooms are available from $85-$200 a night depending on the room and dates and all guests receive a amazing breakfast each morning and have access to all our wonderful amenities.

Casa Ramirez has 2 deluxe rooms which are the 2 largest rooms available to stay in. These rooms have comfortable queen-size beds, AC, flat screen tvs, sitting areas and large bathrooms with both tubs and showers. The windows of the deluxe room slide open to reveal views of the pool and gardens in the backyard of the home.

A slightly more affordable but equally impressive option in Casa Ramirez are the 2 garden rooms. These rooms are uniquely decorated and have sliding doors that open up into the garden area of the home where the pool is located. Each room has flat screen TVS, AC and private baths with large showers.

On the ground floor of the home there is one more room available that we call our Basic room. This is the most affordable option in the house because its location is not as ideal as the other rooms but it does have a queen sized bed with double pillow mattress, private bath with shower and AC. The basic room includes the free breakfast and access to all the homes amenities just like the other 4 rooms. It is a perfect option for those on a budget or just looking for a place to crash for the night on a layover to Bocas Del Toro or elsewhere in Panama.

The favorite part of the home for most people is the outdoor patio area and gardens. The gardens with squirrels and hummingbirds playing daily make you feel like your in a oasis in the city. There is a pool, sauna, steam room, BBQ bar, hammocks and comfortable seating everywhere for all our guests to relax in and enjoy their stays.

Casa Ramirez has partnered up with Weil Art one of the most respected art galleries in Panama to fill the home with many unique pieces from the region. All the art is also for sale so if you love something that you see while staying with us just let us know and we can arrange to have it shipped to you or if its small enough to take in your bags then it can go home with you.

No need to spend another night in a typical Panama City hotel. Give Casa Ramirez a call and let us help make your stay in Panama City as enjoyable as possible. We can setup airport transfers, tours and best of all give you recommendations on the best places to eat in a city that is full of great restaurants.

All reservations can be made online at our webpage. All major credit cards accepted. Web Page with reservation system: For further information you can give Casa Ramirez a call at +(507) 390.81.91 or via email at
