Fire Breaks Out On A Ship in Colon

Boats and SailingA fire broke out on Sunday afternoon on a boat anchored off the breakwater in the province of Colon, but so far it is unknown if anyone was injured or killed in the fire. The fire lasted for five to six minutes until it was controlled by the ship's crew, before it reached the fuel area. The Fire Department dispatched a fire truck, but they were unable to leave the mainland to reach the ship. This is the second time there has been a fire on a ship in front of Colon and the fire department has been unable to help. A report from the National Maritime Authority is expected. (TVN)
