The money will be distributed in 11,397 prizes through fractions of the winning tickets, which cost two dollars. You can also buy an entire sheet of 30 tickets for $60 dollars.
THREE STRIKES - The first prize is $20,000 dollars for each winning ticket (fraction), or $600,000 for the entire sheet. For the second prize, $8,000 dollars will be paid per winning ticket (fraction), or $240,000 for the entire sheet. For the third prize, $3,000 dollars will be paid per winning ticket (fraction), or $90,000 dollars for the entire sheet.
INCENTIVE BONUSES - The National Lottery has added an incentive bonus of $92,500 dollars to the first prize, $75,000 to the second prize, and $10,000 dollars to the third prize. In addition, there is a bonus of $7,500 dollars for having five digits of each prize and the award-winning series and page number. (Siglo)
**Editor's Comment:** Playing the lottery is like a national sport in Panama. As with lottery games everywhere else around the world, your chances of winning are relatively small. But what the heck, for a couple of bucks you might end up with the $20,000 first prize. Something to do, fun if you're bored. They pull the numbers on Sunday morning on television, and the results also appear in the newspapers the next day. The also do drawings on Wednesdays, and the "fat" drawing at the end of the month.
