Editor's Comment: There is a legal prohibition on all government officials that prevents them from using government time, money, assets, resources, phones, or anything else as part of political activities. Salomón Shamah was Ricardo Martinelli's campaign manager, with regards to making the advertisements and the public message of his campaign. So now of course everyone is looking at him to lead their campaign for 2014. This week the Cambio Democratico party went all goofy, with several people coming out to officially declare their intentions to run in the party primary. Interestingly, and surprisingly, Roberto Henriquez came out this morning on the news and strongly declared that he would not be running, and at the same time he expressed his support for Guillermo Ferrufino, who will be running. Henriquez also said he would like to continue working in government if the CD wins the 2014 election.
