Don't Put Links In Comments
By DON WINNER for Panama-Guide.com - Someone again today posted a comment to an article containing a link to another website, "for more information see..." I have a standard policy that I don't allow links in the comments section, of any kind, ever. The reason is simple - there are too many bad or virus laden websites out there, and people who are spammers who seem legitimate but they really just will do anything to get you to click that link. And, I simply don't have the time to check the links before they go up. If you want to suggest something say it with words, like "if you want more information do a Google search for the phrase 'us electricity rates chart historical' ..." or whatever. When I read and spam check the comments before posting them, the instant I see a link, I back out and instantly delete it without hesitation. It's automatic, so don't waste your time or mine.
