Tense Atmosphere At The National Assembly
After the doors were closed to the public observation area in the National Assembly a group of people forcibly entered the area to observe the actions of the session, after they were not allowed to enter. The atmosphere in the Assembly was even more tense, while at 12:15 pm outside the palace Justo Arosemena another group of demonstrators demanded entry to the stands. In the National Assembly they are debating the controversial bills that discuss the sale of state owned shares in joint ventures, and the appointment of three new judges to the Fifth Chamber of the Supreme Court.
