Security Minister Refuses To Speculate on San Miguelito Shootings
Public Security Minister Jose Raul Mulino declined to speculate about the incident that happened last night in the area Jose Domingo Espinar in San Miguelito, in which the pre candidate for representative from the Democratic Revolutionary Party (PRD), Gilberto Pinzon was killed and the sister of deputy Raul Pineda was injured. He said the Directorate of Judicial Investigation (DIJ), is performing the steps that are necessary to capture those responsible for the murder of Pinzon, who he understands are minors. He asked people to not link the incident to politics and to wait for the investigations to be completed, and he preferred not to comment because he said there are many components in the case and he prefers to let the authorities do their job. Mulino said on the TVN morning news they are waiting for the motives of the event to be identified. (Panama America)
