Copa Passenger From Brazil Dies On Plane During Stopover in Panama Enroute To Miami

Panama NewsOn Sunday a team of emergency medical personnel gave care to a passenger on Copa Airlines Flight 166, from Recife (Brazil) during a stopover in Panama City. The passenger, a Brazilian national, died at the Tocumen International Airport. The deceased was identified as Angelo Burton, who was bound for Miami, USA. Unofficially, it was learned that Burton was traveling in the company of a person who wanted to continue the trip to Miami, but was not allowed. Personnel from the office of the Auxiliary Prosecutor went to the airport to recover the body. (Telemetro)

Editor's Comment: Mixed reporting. When I saw this story on TVN they reported that the guy who died was a 65 year old man who was a US citizen, who had died of an apparent heart attack.
