US Embassy Echo's SINAPROC High Tide Warning

Safety & Security By DON WINNER for - The following was issued by the US Embassy in Panama City today; "The Director of SINAPROC has issued a safety warning to all persons living in Panama concerning the high tides of 15.7 to 17.3 feet that will be occurring between July 2nd and July 8th and the accompanying strong swells that may make it more dangerous to be on the ocean during that time. He is advising everyone to use caution and make sure that they are wearing the life jackets required by the Panamanian Marine Authority when they go near the water.

Editor's Comment: SINAPROC issues these things every 28 days or so, like clockwork. The "higher than normal" tides accompany the full moon so recently the SINAPROC has taken to issuing these warnings in the form of a press release.
