Two new deaths from the KPC bacteria were recorded this morning in the Social Security hospital, confirmed the Third Superior Prosecutor, Sofanor Espinosa. So far 125 people have died in Panama due to this nosocomial bacteria. The two deaths that occurred today, Monday, were already on the list maintained by the prosecution since 31 January 2012, said Espinosa. (Critica)

Editor's Comment: In recent days representatives from the Social Security Fund have come out saying the KPC bacteria is "under control" because there have been no new cases discovered in the months of May or June 2012.
