"Can I Ship My Harley to Panama?"

I was wondering if you know if it is possible to bring my bike into the country, how I would do that, and some idea on cost or who I could contact. We will probably end up in the Boquete area. Is there a Harley Davidson dealer in Panama. If so what do bike run there, a range not knowing the Model. I am trying to decide if I should buy one there or ship mine if possible. I have my bike just how I like it now and hate to part with it. Thanks for your help, Bill."
Editor's Comment: Well, you can literally ship anything to Panama. It's only a question of the price, taxes, fees, etc. I'll send you an email with a couple of suggestions for people who can ship it for you. Yes, there is a Harley dealer here in Panama. So, you might want to sell your bike where you are and then buy another one here. That might turn out to be the cheaper option, but not if you're in love with your bike. The costs of the bikes here in Panama are comparable to standard prices in the US with an expected markup for shipping and import taxes, etc. Meaning, you won't pay much more than expected in Panama for a new bike. Some also come up occasionally on the used market as well.
