Albrook And Tocumen Closed Due To Bad Weather

WeatherFlight operations at the Marcos A. Gelabert airport in Albrook have resumed after the weather conditions improved. At noon today it was decided to close the airport due to poor visibility in the area. However, an hour later operations were resumed and at this time the airport is open to flight traffic. Earlier, the Administrator of the Civil Aviation Authority, Rafael Barcenas said the decision to cancel flights came due to reduced visibility for the approach. Furthermore, it was reported pilots had to fly by instrument because of the weather conditions. The Tocumen International Airport was also closed for a time due to bad weather, and has also already reopened. (Prensa)
