Mireya Moscoso Will Announce Candidacy on 15 August 2012
The self-proclaimed campaign spokesman for the former president Mireya Moscoso, Antonio Dominguez, said yesterday on 15 August 2012 political leader will announce her candidacy in the presidential primary for 2014. According to Dominguez, the decision has been made and Moscoso will run in a primary against her (Panameñista) party colleague, Vice President Juan Carlos Varela. He further indicated on KW Continente the official announcement will be at an event at the Arnulfo Arias Madrid Foundation. Dominguez said Moscoso has already hired her political advisers, which include a number of U.S. citizens. (Critica)
