Navarro and Doens Agree To Stop Attacking One Another (Sort Of)
Juan Carlos Navarro and Mitchell Doens promised to run "high road" campaigns, and to put an end to the political attacks between them. Doens and Navarro, who both aspire to the Secretariat General of the PRD, expressed this commitment during a meeting of the candidates running for positions on the National Executive Committee held in Penonomé. Navarro asked for the utmost respect for Doens, and for all members of the PRD political party. Meanwhile, Doens claimed he has been disrespected in the allegations he has received $25,000 from the National Assembly, that he bought a car using PRD party funds, and he is involved in the CEMIS scandal. He said if these attacks stop and if they do not denigrate him, then he pledges to respect the ethics policy. (Critica)
Editor's Comment: Hilarious. They are exchanging barbs, with both sides trying to convince the 4,200 convention delegates that the other guy is more corrupt.
