President's Yacht Sinks in Darien - Four Rescued
A yacht owned by President Ricardo Martinelli sank today near the port of Piña, in the province of Darien, but it was learned the president was not on the boat. The yacht was carrying three crew and a bodyguard of President's son, who were rescued unharmed by members of the State Border Service, confirmed the Director of the SENAFRONT, Frank Abrego in a telephone conversation with Castalia Pascual for TVN. The accident occurred at 1:45 am on Saturday morning when the yacht was heading to the Darien to participate in a fishing tournament. It was reported that the president's son would travel by helicopter today. (TVN)
