President's Yacht Sinks in the Darien
A yacht owned by President Ricardo Martinelli during the early morning hours of Saturday, near Pinas Bay in the Darien, after hitting a rock. Members of the State Border Service rescued three crew members and one of the bodyguards of the President's sons unharmed, said TVN yesterday. Sources for this newspaper (La Prensa) confirmed that the yacht named "Aqua Bella" sank, a Beltran yacht worth $2.5 million dollars. The site of the wreck was marked in order to recover the yacht, which had recently undergone maintenance. (Prensa)
