Tire Explodes, Driver Loses Control - Metro Bus Goes Into River
The driver of a Metrobus lost control of the vehicle and drove it into a ravine near the Tapia river on the Southern Corridor. The driver told a traffic control officer that one of the tires exploded and caused him to lose control. It was learned there were eight people on the bus, who were not injured, and they left the scene on their own accord. On the site are police officers, the Land Transit and Transportation Authority, and personnel from the company Mi Bus, responsible for the operation of the new Metro Buses in Panama City.
