Panama Has A Chance At A Bronze in Taekwondo (Right Now)

There's new hope for Panama. It was announced Carolena Carstens would advance in the consolation round, in which she will compete for the Bronze medal in the 49 kilogram weight class of Taekwondo at the Olympics in London, said Angel Valdes of TVN and TVMAX. This is possible because, winning the semifinals, the three-time champion of the world and four time champion of Europe, the Spaniard Brigitte Yague today beat the Thai Chanati Sonkham 10 -9 at the London Olympics. Carstens lost this morning to Yague 7 -2 in the Quarterfinals, and will now face Mexico's Janneth Joy at 2:30 pm Panama time this afternoon, David Salayandía. (TVN)
