Moscoso Calls Possible Fusion of CSS and MINSA A "Mistake"
The former President Mireya Moscoso said the possible future merger of the Social Security Fund (CSS) and the Ministry of Health (MoH) a "mistake." Moscoso said "we should let the CSS as it is, and if the Ministry of Health needs a bigger budget, then give it to them because this would not work." Similarly, the former president said she is analyzing her possible candidacy for president, because in the different places she has visited people have asked her if she would be launching her campaign as a candidate for this position. She made her remarks at the Arias Madrid Brothers Museum in Penonomé, when Moscoso visited the mausoleum of the former President Arnulfo Arias Madrid, who died 24 years ago today. (TVN)
