Protesters Rattle Fences And Burn Boxes Outside Of National Assembly
Tensions resurfaced between protesters gathered outside of the Legislative Palace, when a group shook the fence and burned boxes. Faced with this action, riot control police officers immediately sprayed pepper spray, while members of the fire department arrived on the scene to extinguish the fire. With the pepper spray, the mood seemed to subside. According to journalist Helen Concepcion, this is the same group that forced their way into the National Assembly last week. (TVN)
