Trucks Cause Traffic Jam On Road From Centennial Bridge Near Stadium
One 18 wheeler cargo truck lost control and went off of the road near the Rod Carew national baseball stadium, and another truck tried to help pull him out, causing a partial closure of the roadway. This situation generated a massive traffic jam that stretched all the way from the industrial area where they are building the materials for the new Panama Metro subway system to the entrance of Bethania. In the traffic jam, six suspects decided to try to rob the drivers while they were sitting in their cars, at gunpoint. However the quick action by the officers of the National Police resulted in the arrest of five. (Panama America)
