330 New SENAFRONT Recruits Undergoing Basic Training

Drug TraffickingA total of 330 young people began their dream of serving their country, their chance to be good men and women, through the basic police training course specialized in protecting the borders of Panama, 40% of them come from different indigenous ethnic groups in the country. Among the aspirants, 100 are from ethnic Ngäbe-Buglé, who aspire for a better future for their family, which is why they ventured into this noble, worthy, and well paid profession. The Director of the SENAFRONT police Commissioner Frank Alexis Abrego said in the SENAFRONT, the Panamanian youth will be fully prepared in academic, physical and mental training, as well as in strengthening civic and moral values, aimed at guaranteeing effective professional service to the community. He said he was pleased that so many young Panamanians have heeded the call to join the ranks of the organization, where after a rigorous screening process they have selected the best. (Dia a Dia)
