Police Arrested 34 High School Students During Street Protests

Protests & DemonstrationsBy DON WINNER for Panama-Guide.com - The National Police have announced that they arrested 34 high school students from the National Institute during the violent street protests that took place this morning along La Avenida de los Mártires, Calle J, and other streets near the school. The National Police said the students would be turned over to their parents, and it would fall to the school's principal and the Ministry of Education to take any disciplinary actions against the students.

I think I would rather be in the Middle East than Panama. I t seems like the whole place is going to hell. The ultimate banana republic, where people throw stones and destroy property if they don't like a law. I wonder if those who oppose Row vs. Wade wish they lived in a banana republic.
