Jimmy Papadimitriu Teaching Politicians in Jordan For IRI? Really?

CorruptionThe former Minister of the Presidency, Demetrio Papadimitriu revealed today in his Twitter account, that he is providing training for future candidates and campaign managers in Jordan. The former minister said the course was taught at IRI's Campaign School in Balqa, Jordan.

The International Republican Institute is a nonprofit and nonpartisan organization which emphasizes freedom and democracy around the world, on developments in the political parties, civic institutions, open elections, democratic governance and rule of law.

Papadimitriu was the campaign manager of President Ricardo Martinelli and the Minister of the Presidency, who was responsible for the process which led to the entry of the new Metro Bus transportation system and the departure of the so-called "Red Devil" buses.

Editor's Comment: Wow. Two questions. How could TVN report on this story without mentioning the fact that Jimmy Papadimitriu resigned from the government of Panama apparently because of his involvement in the ANATI land scandals in Paitilla and Juan Hombron? And it also looks like the exact same people were involved in the Punta Chame ANATI land scandal, currently being investigated by the Attorney General. And there's more coming, this time in Bocas del Toro. I doubt that the people who run the International Republican Institute are aware of the details surrounding Papadimitriu's departure from the Panamanian government. Amazing stuff.
