Authorities also seized a vehicle, a boat, a trailer and a motorcycle.
A press release from the National Police said the seizures were the result of three different intelligence operations carried out in recent days by counter narcotics units of the Directorate of Judicial Investigation (DIJ) of Bocas del Toro and Colon.
The first operation in Bocas del Toro resulted in the seizure of 108 packages of cocaine, which were hidden in two containers located in the port of Almirante. They were destined for a European country. In this case no arrests have been made.
Meanwhile, judicial investigators in the province of Colón seized 25 packages of marijuana and 11 kilos of suspected cocaine, as the result of an intelligence investigation, on the main road in the village of Sabanitas.
The illegal goods were concealed in a vehicle with a false bottom, which was towing a yacht, and a motorcycle was seized that was inside of the vehicle. In this case a foreigner was arrested who was driving the vehicle.
In other action, judicial investigators in Colon seized another 20 packages of cocaine, this time inside the evaporator motor of a refrigerated container, which was parked at the Port of Manzanillo. (Mi Diario)
