Electoral Prosecutor Investigating Improper Use Of Government Owned Vehicle At CD Political Event

CorruptionThe office of the Electoral Prosecutor has opened an official investigation into the alleged use of a government owned vehicle during a meeting of the National Board of Directors of the Democratic Change (CD) political party, which was held last November 12 at the headquarters of the group.

The vehicle involved belongs to the Transit Authority (ATTT), so they sent a note to Ventura Vega, the Director of the entity, to answer some questions as to who was driving the car, what was the agenda, and others.

Vega has a period of 30 days to respond to the letter sent by José Félix González, the Electoral Prosecutor.

On the subject, the Transit Authority said they would "cooperate completely with everything required by the Electoral Prosecutor," and that "in the coming hours will be sending responses to all information requested." (Telemetro)

Editor's Comment: Whoops. Not supposed to be using any government owned vehicles during political events...
