She is 22 years old, studying media at the Universidad Santa Maria la Antigua, and is a catwalk model from the Physical modeling agency. She represented the country as Miss Tourism Metropolitan, in Malaysia, in 2011.

Editor's Comment: Let's see. Where to begin. That's nice - there's a new Miss Panama. I started off with the intention of writing an article about the event, toss up a couple of photos of Carolina Brid as the newly crowned champ, and done. However when I went to see the photos of the event at the dealante.com website (they always do the best job of covering this sort of thing) it became obvious that I would be required to cover another angle of this story. But first, I find the need to provide a definition for a slang term, by way of establishing an important reference, necessary before I can proceed.
Camel Toe: Camel toe is a slang term that refers to the outline of a human female's labia majora, as seen through tightly fitting clothes. Due to a combination of anatomical factors and the snugness of the fabric covering it, the crotch and pudendal cleft may take on a resemblance to the forefoot of a camel. The causes of the camel toe effect are not always obvious. Camel toe commonly occurs as a result of wearing tight fitting clothes, such as shorts, hotpants or swimwear – particularly when the labia majora are hairless and the pubic hair cannot help to mask the underlying shape of the mons. Some fashion analysts have identified clothing design as a cause, rather than its size. Camel toe may be exacerbated by garments with a tight central seam that serves to divide the labia majora. (Wikipedia)
The swimsuit competition for this event probably set some sort of record for "most cameltoes appearing on stage in twenty minutes." Apparently the clothing designer who "created" the swimsuits used by these women during the event was out to make sure every nook and cranny was completely on display (bless his heart.) And he apparently gave them all a "bikini wedgie" right before they took the stage. Just look at the photos, you'll see what I mean...
